Yellow Cloud 4 Sale

Sam Ash Custom Guitars is selling this Yellow Cloud. They do not list a price on the web page so you will have to call to get the price which I'm sure is high! They have it listed in good condition but it's hard to tell from a photo. There is a dark spot below the bridge but I'm not sure if it's just the photo or something that's on the guitar. if anyone has any info on this please let us know!

Reply From Schecter : Case

I e-mailed the Schecter company regarding cases for the cloud guitars and this was there reply.

"It looks like G&G can help you with a case. This is not a standard model that we offer, and therefore do not offer a Schecter case."

I do appreciate the info and there quick reply but they do not show any prices on there website and like they say "If you have to ask.....you can't afford it"! So I'll keep looking and let you all know what I find.

Schecter Catalogs

The good old days! These catalogs are from 2000 and 2007 featuring the White and Rave Blue clouds. The White Cloud must have been one of the first ones offered.....by the time I got mine the symbol and the bolt on neck were gone but I am still happy with it!.

Walter's Custom Cloud Case

Thanks to Walter for sending me these photos of his custom cloud guitar cases! The case is beautiful but not as beautiful as that purple cloud! This is a good sign to all the cloud owners out there that there are cases out there and custom ones can be made!

Cloud Impersonator?

Is there such a thing? This white cloud is used by a professional impersonator who does Prince and Tom Jones acts. I'm not sure what kind of guitar was used to create this cloud but I think whoever made it did a great job! A cloud is a cloud in my book and just a glance at it you instantly know what it is regardless of whats underneath!
This is a quote from his web page "This Guitar was custom built by John for the Purple Rain Show. It is the only one in existence and may be available FOR SALE to a full time Prince Impersonator.".

Cloud Case?

I've been asked about cases for the cloud guitar alot lately and the only thing I've seen are the universal type cases. I've never seen a case specifically made for the cloud but I would think you could get a basic rectangle type universal case where you could adjust the foam to the shape of the cloud. Below is a link to a case made by Schecter of all people (how cool is that?) who makes a universal hard shell case. Now you would think that they would have the dimensions in the description but they don't! The Scetcher Cloud in just under 38" but if you have a custom the size may be a little different. The only dimension they give are the shipping dimensions and they all seem to be about 44" so I'm not a 100% sure that it will fit but there are many other companies that make cases so I'm sure there is one out there that would fit our beloved cloud! The Cloud guitar has such a unique shape I would be carfeul if you decide to get a molded one.

I saw this Schecter bass case over at http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ and it looks like it would fit but unfortunately you won't know until you get it and thats not a great way to go about finding one but for now I'll keep on looking!
