The Controversy
A great photo of Prince and the Yellow Cloud. I'm not sure if this was on a concert book or poster but I would love to find out.

Controversy was a UK based fanzine in the 80's & 90's. It was produced by Eileen Murton and had a lot of articles written by fans. I wrote an article about Prince's guitars which was featured in one.
ReplyDeleteThis was back in the days before the Internet and at the time was the only way to get your Prince news other than the tabloids!
I still have all my old issues of Controversy and I love looking back through them.
In 1990 Eileen organised a Prince convention in MPLS which I was lucky enough to be able to go to. We went to Paisley Park and even attended the Diamonds & Pearls album release party at Glam Slam (Prince's nightclub at the time). The dancefloor had a giant brass 0(+> inlaid in it!
